We need care, not euthanasia
Stand up for solidarity
Following the 1st reading vote at the French National Assembly on the law establishing a so-called “assistance in dying” and prior to its examination by the French Senate, Alliance VITA is launching a major campaign in order to confront the roller-coaster of euthanasia and to defend solidarity : the French public are calling for care, not euthanasia ! Alert, Heckle, Argue : are the 3 mottos for the operation which will be deployed between now and the end of the year.
The campaign opens in digital form, showing faces and words, many are to be deployed already today and throughout the duration of the debates through social media and on the Alliance VITA web site.
We are all concerned ! The sick, the aged or the handicapped ; supporting family members ; carers ; worried citizens… to defend a society which cares for the most vulnerable and rejects a society which abandons them by opening the door to euthanasia.
Faced with suffering, we must build upon the progress already achieved in the fight against pain and reinforce our humane and unifying responses, not those which isolate and divide.
All the information about this campaign is available on the Alliance VITA web site.
