The Alliance VITA council has renewed Anne-Charlotte Rimaud's mandate as president of the association. Following her re-election, she will be continuing her mission launched in 2022 dedicated to bioethics respectful of human dignity, life and the most vulnerable. Her mission is deeply entrenched in the local realities and is nourished by the commitment of the volunteer members acting in the field.
Anne-Charlotte Rimaud joined Alliance VITA in 2004 in Poitiers, initially as a team member. Subsequently in Chartres, Bourges, Orléans and Angers, she successively held the positions of Team Leader, Department Delegate, Regional Referent, Member of the National Board, before her election as President in 2022. Her career path and her loyalty to Alliance VITA spanning 22 years are an illustration of the field representation of the association all over France.
Anne-Charlotte carries within Alliance VITA the determination to act for the defence of the most fragile, basing its action on listening services, awareness campaigns and training in order to reach the widest possible audience and decision makers on bioethics issues.
Strengthened by the renewed confidence demonstrated by the Alliance VITA Council, Anne-Charlotte Rimaud aims to expand the network of committed members as well as the links between associations at national and international levels in order to increase the influence of Alliance VITA.

We unfold our three dimensions: listening, training and mobilising. Our three-pronged mission is materialised through the commitment of our volunteer members throughout France. It is intensified by the development of local partnerships, both with professional organisations and associations. Jointly we are often stronger when defending the most fragile!
At a time when fragilities are proliferating in society — increasing solitude, ageing of the population, loss of references, increasing individualism or the promotion of performance — Alliance VITA is reaffirming its respect for the human person, its dignity and vulnerability, which is based on fraternity and the priority granted to relationship and affective links."
